ISPOR Asia-Pacific (APAC) 2022 was held as a 2-day virtual summit, featuring plenary sessions, presentations, discussions, and educational symposia across a range of health economics and outcomes research topics. Previously in ISPOR APAC 2020, discussions mainly revolved around the suitability of current health technology assessment (HTA) frameworks in evaluating novel therapies and the incorporation of real-world evidence (RWE) in HTA decision-making amidst an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. While these remain as key themes this year, ISPOR APAC 2022 delved further into these topics, with new discussions surrounding critical issues on diversity, patient representation, and equity in HTA and RWE within APAC.
